Jane Marriner studied Art in conjunction with teacher training, and taught primary age children for some years. She has recently been inspired to combine stories with stylized illustrations to increase children’s awareness of the environment, conservation and climate change.
All her stories involve animals and humans interacting to combat/avert negative environmental issues, in inventive, albeit comical ways. There is an element of helping those in need, and a strong sense of community spirit.
However, she wants children to enjoy reading the stories, and to appreciate the humor in both stories, and illustrations.
